Ms. Oindrila Mukherjee is a health psychologist and a PhD candidate at Centre for Health Psychology, University of Hyderabad. She completed her Master's programme in health psychology with a gold medal in 2018. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from Christ University, Bangalore, where she discovered her interest in Health Psychology. Her area of research lies in the field of Behavioural Cardiology, where she studies chronic illness management during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a published author and has contributed her research papers to various international scientific journals. Her recent paper presentation on the sleep quality of adult hypertensives during the COVID-19 pandemic was recently awarded the Best Paper in her scientific session at the 26th International Conference of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology held in January, 2022. She secured an All India Rank 69 in the GATE examination conducted in the year 2021. Her other areas of interest include positive health, fitness, stress & coping, teaching and research. She strongly believes that our thoughts have the power to change our behaviour and influence our actions.
